So, after the patio cover was done, we had to paint the trim and stain the exposed wood.  And since we had access to a paint sprayer, we decided to paint a whole lot more than just the patio cover.  We got our families together and painted the south and west sides of our house, which desperately needed it!  We have the sprayer for a couple more weekends, and if we're really ambitious, we may just paint the east side of the house too!  The north side thankfully doesn't need a new coat of paint!
