Katie and Reggie's Wedding.

Katie and Reggie got married on the edge of the hill overlooking the Badlands.  It was gorgeous!

Reggie played a song for Katie on the guitar as one of Amy's nieces sang.

It was a gorgeous night!  I feel so lucky to have been there!  Thanks Amy and Phil for your hospitality!  I recommend the Circle View Guest Ranch to anyone who needs a place to stay on the edge of the Badlands!  What a great trip we had!

Badlands and Circle View Guest Ranch for Katie's wedding.

We rushed out of Minnesota early Sunday morning to drive to South Dakota for Katie and Reggie's wedding.  We got the chance to drive through Badlands National Park on the way to the ranch.  It was spectacular!

Upon arrival, we threw on some western gear and square dancing dresses and headed into town.  The ranch is a few miles from Interior, South Dakota, and the fire hall in Interior is where the square dance was held!

We were thrilled to dress up in square dance dresses, but the actual square dancing was even more fun!!!  (Kurtis even loved it!  It was a total hidden talent of his!)

And of course, Clara got in on the action too!  She was helped by Katie's niece, Kate.

The day of the wedding, we woke up and ate an incredible breakfast!  We were all so impressed, but Amy (Katie's sister and owner of the ranch) assured us that the breakfast was typical and just what they do.  Amazing!

Then, we went horseback riding with Phil (Amy's husband) and Amy's nephew, Marshall.

Kurtis got to ride Pinky, the "spirited" horse.  And boy oh boy, was he sore the next day.  Pinkie took off quite a bit and always seemed to be leading the pack.

Teri rode Cowpoke, Jess rode Boo, I rode Ann, and Clara rode Sweetheart with cowboy Marshall.  Sweetheart's baby, Dusty, came along too!

We made the most of our short time at the ranch before the big event!
