Benny Boy is 3!

And the party was fun!  Being born on June 1 is awesome!  The party was held in the backyard, and included swimming and digging and running and laughing.  It was perfect!  I wish I'd have snapped more photos, but i just captured a few fun moments with my phone.

Here's the drive up.  Clara is obviously looking super smart and quite engaged in a movie playing on the back of Oma's seat.  Oh yeah, don't mind the french fries in her cup holder...

This is the prairie near Grangeville, Idaho.

The canola on a bright and sunny day!  Stunning!

Now here's the party!  Here are Clara and Ben swimming in the pool.  This was just after Clara was a party pooper - literally!  She pooped in her swimsuit and we just threw it away.  It was a bad poop!  Hence the nakedness!  What's Ben's excuse?  He's wearing his birthday suit, of course!

 Here are the two birds digging.  They could happily spend their days putting rocks in buckets with shovels, dumping them out, and starting over.  Seriously!  They couldn't even look up for a picture!

 And here they are playing in the best toy 5 or 6 bucks can buy!

 That weekend, we headed out to Steve's brothers house for a moment.  I had to snap a few pics of Clara surrounded by the beautiful farmland under the gorgeous sky!

 And these pics were taken from my phone inside the car!  The day was stormy when we drove back south to Boise, but the pictures are not bad if I do say so myself!  The canola was just so beautiful!  The shot of the barn was the same shot I took on the way up.

Thanks for hosting us you guys!  It was a ball, like usual!  And Happy Birthday Ben!  We love you and are so happy you are a part of our family!
