a day with Pop.

We are so lucky to have so much family in town.  My mom still watches Clara almost everyday, but there are times when she needs some backup.  Because Steve and Teenie are in Hawaii, my Mom is watching Ben and Will.  She wasn't sure she could handle three children under the age of three, so she called in the reinforcements, and Pop saved the day!

Clara was so excited to see him that morning, and they had a fabulous day!  Pop took Clara to Boise's aquarium, and they had a ball.  Clara was a little nervous to touch the fish at first.  Pop put his hands in the water as a ray swam by, and she yanked his arm out!  But after she got a little more comfortable, she was reaching in to touch lots of fish!  Pop was kind enough to take a few pictures and videos!

Here is Clara holding a starfish out of the water (totally against aquarium rules) and then throwing it back in the water when Pop realized she was being such a rebel and prompted her to put it back in the water.  She threw it back into the water...hilarious!

After all that fun, she was exhausted.  So she headed back to Pop and Grandma's house and took a nap with Ali the shorthair!  She's still talking about the aquarium!  Thanks for the fantastic day, Pop!
