Clara-ism.

Clara is saying some of the funniest things lately! Kurtis shot a bull elk this week, and when he got home, she got to go check it out. She's excellent at making elk sounds, and now she got to see an elk up close (too close in her Mom's opinion)! Anyway, we were face timing Teenie and Steve and the boys, and I told Clara to tell them what Daddy got. She proceeded to say, "money!". Hahaha! Joke's on her!

But this cute Clara-ism stems from something Clara and Daddy do each day. When Kurtis gets home from work, he takes the day's change out of his pockets, and he and Clara go up to her room and put it in her piggy bank. And while Kurtis was gone, at times Clara would cry for Daddy, and she'd follow up her cry for daddy with a pathetic, "money....wahhhh!". Hilarious! I hope she really just missed the experience with Daddy, not the actual moolah!

Here are a couple pics of Clara and Daddy in the yard with Kurtis and Uncle Brian's elk. Kurtis' is the smaller one, but I'm sure it will still taste just fine! In fact, it BETTER taste fine. As Kurtis and his dad and brother were leaving elk camp, Kurtis' truck was having some issues. It turns out, he had to be towed out of the wilderness and get a new fuel pump and filter. So this was one pricey elk!
