My friend Teri's husband Dave is a photographer, and graciously took the Waldon Family photos this year. We got a few shots in front of the house Paul and Cynth have lived in since I was 5.
And then we headed down below their house to the wetlands area and took some more.
This next shot would have been my fave, but we adults couldn't get our act together and all look good at the same time! I love the blue sky and tan grasses!
I love this next one!
This was the one on our Christmas card!
And this next sequence is pretty classic! In the first shot, Will hit Clara and ticked her off...
then he felt angry...
The two older kids soaked up the extra love from Auntie Em!
And then Em tried to wrangle Will... unsuccessfully!
And this was my fave one of the whole family! Thank you Dave!

Thanksgiving 2014.
The Kaufmans ventured down to Boise for Thanksgiving this year. So of course, the kids had a ball together!
I was in charge of pies this year, and Emmy came over and "helped".
We spent some time making lefse with Opa! It was pretty delish!
Then on Thanksgiving day, everyone came over to Paul and Cynth's house, including the Brooks side of our family! So our Thanksgiving couldn't have been easier!
The next day, we headed to the grove in downtown Boise so the men could attend a basketball game and we girls and kids could go to the festival of trees!
The kids did arts and crafts and were even able to drive some trains around!
They also were able to visit Santa all together, and we got the cutest pictures (which were a true, Christmas miracle!).
And of course, it wouldn't be a Waldon family get together without some major game playing! It was such a fun Thanksgiving. We are so lucky and blessed!

December fun!
I enjoyed a brunch with my best girlfriends and most of our children (we missed Ezra and Elliotte).
We decked the halls and enjoyed watching the "magic" of this German pyramid from GG!
Did too much holiday baking (what's new?).
Liz and the moms enjoyed Jersey Boys and a dinner date at swanky Barbacoa!
More decking...
Since Liz had a student teacher this semester, it was entirely too easy to take time off...but it made it possible to take the morning off and attend Clara's preschool Christmas party! It was so fun to see her in action at school. And the man in red even came for a visit!
We had our annual mother/daughter brunch. This tradition has been going for either 9 or 10 years! We always are way too loud, laugh way too much, and have so much fun!
