We spent a good chunk of Saturday fishing the lake and nearby stream and only caught 3 baby trout.
Clara and Knox (the 4-year-olds) were responsible for catching 2/3 of the fish!
The dogs loved being so close to the water, and got tired pretty early on playing fetch.

We packed up Sunday and hiked a little bit in search of Morel mushrooms, but we ended up coming home empty handed.
What a relaxing weekend in the mountains! We were the only people in our campground and had such a grand time with our friends!
And for once in my life, this blog is actually caught up! Boonah! I better enjoy it while I can, because blogging this afternoon was just my way of procrastinating cleaning the house.
