Teenie arranged for an antique fire truck to come pay the party a visit. The kids were so excited when it rolled up. Heck! So were the adults!
The kids and adults climbed on board and went for a little ride around the neighborhood.
The birthday boy got to talk into the loud speaker and announce that it was his birthday! So sweet!
Will was pretty excited!
The next day, we hung out around the house and let the kids play in the pool. I forgot Clara's suit, so she borrowed some gear from the boys!
Later that night, Clara was feverish and complained of a sore throat. We made it through the night and the drive home, thanks to fever meds. But that night (Memorial Day), we went in to Urgent Care and learned that Clara had strep. Bummer!
But the weekend was great! We're lucky the drive to Lewiston is only 5 hours away! It makes seeing cousins happen quite frequently!
