fishing.

We took the boat out a couple weekends ago.  Clara was a little harder to entertain this year, but overall did pretty well.  After all, the snacks were plentiful and the weather was pleasant.  Here she is with daddy.  She caught her first fish on her very own fishing pole.  She looks completely enthused, right?

 Daddy sure was happy!  And do you notice the photo bomb?  Jeff and Janet went out in their boat and we zipped around the lake together!

 I don't know why, but we always kiss the fishies.  Ick!

 This was the part Clara loved best...taking all the crappy jigs out of their respective places and piling them up together in an unorganized mess!  Stinker!

 And notice she's not wearing her life jacket!  She hated it, and complained horribly when we made her wear it.  So we compromised, and while we were anchored, we didn't make her wear it.  We'll probably live to regret that!

 And here's proof that I was there... and that Clara loves her mother!
