We had a great visit with Uncle Arlen this year! We started the holidays off with a dinner out with the whole family at the Red Feather. We usually go to Table Rock, but because of BSU's bowl game, that wasn't an option this year. And Red Feather was wonderful! We sat down in the basement (thank goodness) so Clara couldn't bother any of the swanky restaurant goers. The food, wine, and conversation was wonderful! Before dinner, we planned on going to the Botanical Gardens for Winter Garden AGlow, but it was raining and we didn't want to get soaked. So we didn't make it this year!
A few other highlights from his trip were Christmas Eve and Christmas morn with the whole Brooks family. A movie night at our house to watch the very distinguished movie
Bridesmaids! And a holiday party at our house the night of the 29th with all the Waldons and Brooks' who were in town. We played games, had good food, and had a ball hanging out together!
Before Arlen headed back home to CA, we snapped a few shots in Jeff and Janet's backyard. And the snow provided a pretty backdrop for these pics!
Clara loved Uncle Arlen. It took her about an hour to warm up to him, and after that she'd cuddle with him and give him hugs and let him give her smooches! Funny girl. It always takes her just a minute to warm up to people!
